Sharing on Prayer Meet (14 Nov 2007, 230pm)

Yesterday's Prayer Meet with MingJing was a blast!

I went with other cgs and got to know a lot of people. They are all very nice and will be looking forward to knowing them more in the Breakaway Camp! =D

A few points what MJ lead us/shared:

1)MJ refresh us on God's name, he told us its important to know them and learn to pray over them!
- can be found in Getting Started bible study book!

2) Prayed for friends (2 friends each!)
-how are we to meet their needs
-MJ told us to write down their names, needs and how can we meet our friends needs

I believe as Pst Kong shared there's always a level of need we can reach! it can be as simple as a smile, a drink or friendship!

3) Prayed for Breakaway Camp!
- there was 14 of us including MJ and John, the guitarist and each took a turn to pray for our camp!
- covering from the weather, to target amount of whole camp-50 friends, to activities and presence of God.

4) Prayed for cellgroup
- Most imptly to grow and multiply. Atmosphere of CG and quality of Message.

5) MJ also encouraged us to organise within our CG, small outings not more than a few people.

Example 1: If you go out with a friend or two ask Catherine or other members to come along to know your friends.

Example 2: Organise activities like bowling, movies, Dota/CS, rollerblading etc. and invite friends. Keypoint! Be INTERESTED in their interests and not just ours.

Yep these are the main highlights!

I strongly encourage all to come and pray together! It'll not only empower you but also let's stand in the gap to pray tgh as a zone!

** The Prayer Meets will be held about thrice weekly until end of November at the above location and there are about 3 time slots**
